Supportive enough to move in – not so tight you can’t breathe. Our fabrics have a natural, comfy stretch and hold their shape through downward dogs and dance-offs. Each top has a note on the product page letting you know what fabric is it made from and if it’s low, mid, or higher support.

We’re based in Melbourne, Australia and ethically made in Bali with a small, family-run team. Every piece is made in small batches under good conditions.

Cold wash (30°C), gentle cycle, inside out or in a wash bag. No tumble drying – just let it air dry. And good news: after a workout, a little airing out goes a long way. You don’t have to wash it every time. Treat your bai with care and it’ll stick around for the long run, or a short walk. 

Most activewear is made from synthetic fibres like polyester and nylon which is plastic made from oil. Bai is made from mostly natural fabrics like bamboo and organic cotton, with just the right amount of stretch.

That means it feels better on your skin (no more plasticky cling and smelly plastic), so you actually want to stay in it all day. And when movement feels easy, you do it more – which is kind of the whole point. Slow, joyful movement all day = a healthier body and a calmer mind.

Yes. That’s the whole point. Bai is made for movement, but not limited to it – yoga, hikes, errands, brunch, airport sprints… . 

Think of it as activewear’s more chill, comfier cousin – more athleisure than performance tech. If you’re running a marathon or climbing Everest, you might want the heavy-duty stuff. 

There is a section called "fabric" on each product page. There you can see if we used our more classic and supportive Booflex fabric or our more breathable Modal fabric.
